I have a naturopathic/homeopathic practice situated at my home in Napier on Wednesdays by appointment. Although I use homeopathy as my main therapy I also use many naturopathic treatments and therapies to enhance, compliment and support the homeopathic treatment.

I can tailor the consultation to suit the individual needs of the client.

Confidentiality

All information given by clients during a consultation is confidential. Your client record will be kept confidential and stored securely. I practice under the New Zealand Council of Homepaths NZCH Code of Practice, providing a comfortable safe environment for your health care.

The Homeopathic Consultation

The first consultation with a Homeopath may take 90 minutes.

During this first consultation the Homeopath seeks to get an understanding of your individual health status and history, this will include all mental, emotional and physical symptoms and how they present in you. This information is necessary so that the Homeopath can find the specific remedy that is most similar to your symptom picture.

Many symptoms may appear unrelated, but the Homeopath looks at the individual picture of each client at a particular time and so determines the required remedy. You may not always be given a remedy at this first consultation as the Homeopath has almost 4,000 remedies to choose from and finding the right one for you may take some time.

The Naturopatic Consultation

During a 90 minute consultation the naturopath seeks to understanding in a holistic manner your individual health status, presenting complaint and history.

Using a variety of different approaches and remedy types including herbs, Bach flower essences nutritional supplementation and homeopathy to bring the body into balance and harmony.

Through this type of approach healing is in reverse and is a progressive process over time.

Monitoring and evaluation of the progress is a vital component of the holistic rebalancing process, through fine tuning of treatment protocols. This is done in the 30-45 minute follow up consultation and subsequent sessions.

Quantum reflex analysis

QRA is a unique, highly effective system of testing the bio-energetic status of the body's key organs and glands using a university-proven muscle testing technique of medically accepted reflex points.

During a QRA session, your practitioner will test key points on the surface of your body to determine their status.

The practitioner can quickly pinpoint problem areas and determine the precise nutrients and the exact amounts needed to rapidly restore the ideal cellular resonance for the area.

Areas of the body can have "interference fields" (IF) these are areas of the body where there has been previous trauma such as an old scar or a whiplash from a car accident.

Even though a trauma may be very old and is no longer painful, it can still act like a powerful short-circuit of the body's natural energy flow to a specific organ or gland, thus creating many problems - often unresolvable even with many types of treatment.

IF's are extremely common and are routinely missed on standard practitioner evaluations. They can often be the root cause of many health issues. Now QRA can quickly identify if you have IF's and how to eliminate them.

QRA can also be used to determine cellular resonance to substances, which can identify allergies and intolerance's to foods and any suspected substances.

Allergy/Food Intolerance Testing

QRA is an accurate precise testing system that allows the practitioner to test the body's resonance to certain substances. If the substance weakens the body during the test then it is a positive test.

Whether it is an allergy or an intolerance is determined but the symptom picture. 

Once allergens are established then a elimination and healing protocol can be set up. Often after time for healing some substances can be reintroduced.
